In the Spirit of Competition
Recently, a professional soccer player in the UK was suspected of kicking a ball boy, causing extensive discussion locally and police involvement. Even though there are supporters on both sides, it is hard to determine the final outcome with so many different opinions. However, any violent event should not be tolerated.
One of the coaches has a more scientific point of view. He said that during a match, an athlete's heartbeat exceeds 118 beats per minute. It is not easy for them to calmly deal with things that suddenly happen. I think this is a valid assesment.
